MUST-DO!

San Francisco Architecture Walking Tour

Last Saturday I spent my morning learning about the city that I love and have been lucky enough to call home for the last 5+ years. Rick Evans, named one of Travel and Leisure’s World’s Greatest Tour Guides, leads small groups through buildings, rooftop gardens and a private library in San Francisco a couple times a week for $40 cash. He tells stories about the creation of buildings, the history of the city, and shares nuggets of information past, present and future. Rick is super passionate about SF, and I learned intimate details about buildings and streets that I have walked by every day, and knew very little about. I didn’t think it was possible to LOVE this city even more, but after just two hours of exploring the Financial District, it became true.

Highly recommended!

Local or tourist, lover of art and architecture or not —  highly recommend Rick’s tour: http://www.architecturesf.com
