1) McDonald’s Under Pressure to Fire Ronald via @WSJ
‘More than 550 health professionals and organizations have signed a letter to McDonald’s Corp. asking the maker of Happy Meals to stop marketing junk food to kids and retire Ronald McDonald.’
2) San Francisco leads with ban on unwanted Yellow Pages via @usatodaygreen
‘In a 9-1 vote late Tuesday, the city’s Board of Supervisors approved an ordnace creating a three-year pilot program that limits the delivery only to customers who are at home and physically accept them or who give prior approval by phone, mail or sticky note left on the door….the ordnance, proposed by the board’s President David Chiu, will bring San Francisco “one step closer to its goal of zero waste in 2020”.’
